Supersonic speed or what

Got a Seatbelt ticket, then hit the cop with the seat belt so had to do jail time. Caleb laughed at the cop, so he had to do time too.

Wrong poster. Should say seat belt violator.

"If better is possible, Good is not enough."
"And behold, one came and said, unto him (Jesus), Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments...The young man saith unto him. All these things have I kept...Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions." --Matthew 19:16-22
This doesn't mean that we are all to sell all our stuff to get to heaven, but if Jesus asked you to, which would you choose, to keep your things or to sell it all? Would you be willing to give up living near family and friends in order to be a foreign missionary? What if God asked you to?

God knows me
Caleb, my son at three months

God knows me--so well that He even knows my hair count (Matthew 10:30) Most importantly, He knows my inner soul, my thoughts, my feelings, my desires, my good, and my bad (my sins). For the true Christian, who has taken the RIGHT steps to have his sins forgiven, the Bible encourages us with the fact, that we won't always see God through a dark glass, but we will see Him and get to know Him as well as we know our own selves. This is amazing and wonderful, if you think about it. How often have you wanted to know someone far inferior to yourselves. But God wants to know us and to have us know Him--face to face. WOW!!!
Some say, how can God understand how I feel? He does. He took on human flesh and experienced human feelings and desires--but He did not sin (unlike our first father, Adam). Because God's Son, Jesus, lived perfectly, He was able to fulfil one of His main purposes for us. That is, to pay the price needed for your sins--DEATH, which we could not pay for ourselves, since we are not perfect and without sin. Why would He do this for you? Because He loves you and because He wanted to. There was no other way. God is truth. God is Holy (perfect). Any other method would have compromised His perfect character and Holy standards.

Imagine a lump of coal. Imagine that all the religions and human philosophies of the world are different kinds of bars of soap. Can they ever get that coal clean? Never. God (the one true God) needs to transform that coal into a diamond and He has done it through the DEATH and RESURRECTION of His Son, Jesus.
A rock cannot help you. Yet hundreds of human societies have worshiped gods made out of rock--how foolish. Mindless magic cannot help you. Some people believe in re-incarnation--but have no understanding of the incredible power and knowledge that would be needed for an intelligent force to accomplish this and keep track of it all. Only the ultimate power in the universe could accomplish this and God doesn't have any real competitors. Satan and his helping fallen angels have some degrees of real power, but compared to God, their powers are like a drop in the ocean. God allows Satan to be a player in our human existance for the accomplishment of His greater purposes. In the end of this earthly human drama, Satan will burn in hell for all eternity, without control over any other being.

Some look at God as the great puppeter. In a sense this is true, but we are not puppets on a string dangling in the air with no control over our actions and thoughts. We have our feet on the ground and can go this way or that way. We can reject God's plan of Salvation or we can accept it. We are judged for our sins (and all humans have sinned). God does not force us to sin, but He has provided a way for us to escape the consequences of our sins--that is by REPENTing of our sins (admitting your sins, giving them to God, and making the decision to stop living in sin and to stop committing more sins) and BELIEVing in Jesus' Power to save us through His substitutionary DEATH and God empowerd RESURRECTION.
Caleb at three months

When you put your trust (faith) in God to save you (your inner soul), He in turn changes your inner soul and your mind. The eyes of your mind begin to have a God empowered perspective. God gives you His Spirit, called the Holy Spirit to live inside of your heart and mind and soul. Now if you try to sin, you are stressing out God's Holy Spirit (like stressing out your marriage through bad conduct). This is like a double conscience and helps you to make the right choices. More positively, however, the Holy Spirit gives you an inner peace and an inner joy, inspite of the up and downs of life, and all of its problems. He also gives you guidance (but if the guidance you think you are hearing is contradictory to the Bible, then it is not the Holy Spirit who is whisphering in your ear and producing the thoughts in your mind. All guidance must be consistant with God's perfect, errorless, and written words found in the Bible.
Go get em' tiger

This brings us back to the beginning. We still see as through a dark glass, but we have God's Spirit helping us together with His revealed WORD. What is His revealed word? The Bible. The Bible is 66 books written by 40 men inspired by God's Spirit with the EXACT WORDS that God wanted to convey to man. 90 percent of the text is clear for us to understand. 10 percent is in riddles of sorts. Everything God wants us to understand and to know clearly is given to us in a straight forward manner, while the other things are there to keep us guessing--usually concerning future events and when they are going to happen.
Don't mess with me. My mind is open and I only want's God's TRUTH put into my head.

If you want to know more, read the Book of John in the Bible and talk to a real Christian. If you don't know one, call or write to Billy Grahm in Mpls, Minnisota. Just put Billy Grahm for the address and the letter will get to the right place.
